Here are my top ten ideas of gifts for a biker. These gifts for a biker as skewed towards the Harley-Davidson enthusiast, but that is only because I am a little bit biased, they are actually good gifts for any biker.

OK, my top ten gifts for a biker are:

1) Harley-Davidson’s very own ‘Ride Atlas of North America’. This definitive guide has a hard-wearing, tear-resistant cover and contains page after page of scenic routes in America.

The routes are organized by state and there are details any laws that a biker should be aware of that are peculiar to that state. There is also relevant information on filling stations and roadside assistance.

2) ‘Riding the World’ by Gregory Frazier. Frazier has ridden around the world on a motorcycle twice, so knows a thing or two about bikes and travelling. It includes great advice on routes, equipment to take, where to sleep, what to eat and how to prepare yourself and your bike.

3) ‘Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance’ by Robert M. Pirsig is n engrossing narrative of his journey from the east coast of the USA to the west with his son on his motorbike. He discusses relationships, madness, philosophy and ‘quality’.

4) Harley-Davidson pink ladies’ watch. This beautiful watch is studded with numerous diamonds with a face of Mother of Pearl. It is also waterproof to 100 feet

The instant I picked up the Universal Solar Charger USB Edition, I was doubtful with regards to its compatibility with all of my own different devices. The Universal proved that it’s certainly perfect for recharging every one of my gadgets without having a problem. It is probably worth noting that the bundle doesn’t have a micro USB charger adapter, that’s necessary for the Amazon kindle along with other small handheld products. Fortunately, it was a little enough product to get elsewhere.

In the field, the Universal Solar Charger is efficient, light-weight and compact. Being only about 240 grams in weight, I found it did not trouble me at all to include the battery charger with my gear. It is also fairly durable. I had it stuffed along with my notebook computer and mobile. The exterior case is made of a fireproof plastic material, so I didn’t have to worry too much in regards to the summer temperature or accidentally putting it too close to a fire. However, I’d personally not really advocate the latter.

Re-charging a laptop computer requires a while, several hours, however I discovered that using the charger to maintain charge level of my laptop computer while I used it is a pretty great way while on the go. Furthermore, the charger works as a battery. I found that I was able to replenish the Universal before venturing out to work or go trekking and later use the charger as a back up electric battery for my devices withoutwaiting for a charge. By doing this I do not need to wait for a bright day before I recharge the Universal to take along with me when I venture out.

On a side notice, whilst the Universal Solar Charger is well-built, it is still constructed from plastic-type material. You might want to consider investing in a small padded cover to keep it in, to keep the Universal working at it’s prime.

In summary then, I love this gadget! It’s exactly what I need when I’m out and about
